1. One obvious action per page

Phone number, short form, and what happens after they submit. Remove everything competing with it.

2. Show real, recent work

Homeowners judge on photographs of finished jobs in places like theirs. Completed job evidence from your own records is more persuasive than stock imagery.

  • Before and after photos from real jobs
  • Named locations where the customer agreed
  • Recent reviews on the page, not just on Google

3. Capture the not-ready visitors

A short form or a direct email address gets you enquiries from people who will not call. Route them into the same system as everything else so nothing sits in an inbox.

4. Reply the same day, every day

Speed of first reply is the strongest single predictor of winning local trade work. If you cannot reply while on site, use call answering or an inbox that alerts the office.

5. Follow the quote up

The website's job ends at the enquiry. The quote and the follow-up decide whether it becomes revenue.

Questions people ask

Do I need more traffic?

Usually not first. Fix conversion and response, then invest in traffic — otherwise you pay to lose enquiries faster.

Are contact forms or phone numbers better?

Both. Different customers use different routes, and evening enquiries are often forms.

How does Keystone Site help here?
